Spirituality
is everywhere and anywhere and cannot be contained or restrained inside
any walls of worship. To think outside the church means to lengthen and
broaden and heighten our worship in the world by expanding our definition
of worship and the meaning of "religious service."
To think
outside the church means to see all of nature as an altar, to perform any
activity as worship, to hear the sensual world as a hymn, to view people
as priests, to seek experience rather than dogma and make of our values a
creed. |
